Teens Charged in Connection with 7-Eleven Armed Robbery
BROOKSVILLE – Officials say they’ve arrested three men, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to a Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson, two men entered the 7-Eleven Food Mart, located at 18226 Powell Road, and demanded money from the store clerk. At least one man displayed a firearm during the robbery but no shots were fired, according to officials. The two men fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, in a vehicle allegedly driven by the third suspect.
Later that same day, all three suspects were captured by authorities, during a traffic stop on Mariner Blvd.
19-year-old Gaetano Keiran Powell Spera and 18-year-old Jonathan William Nelson are charged with Armed Robbery and are currently behind bars – held on a $100,000 bond. The third suspect, 18-year-old Ryan Andrew Siebe, is also charged with Armed Robbery, but his bond is set at $50,000.
Friday’s armed robbery marks the fifth violent incident, involving firearms, in a 48 hour period.
