Three Major Incidents But Officials Aren’t Talking
SPRING HILL – Over the last few days, RNRF received numerous tips from concerned citizens, over the presence of law enforcement at residences on Abbeville Street, Pinehurst Drive, and Curry Drive.
RNRF contacted the Sheriff’s Office regarding incident on Abbeville Street, but we were referred to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, where a spokesperson said the case was still open and that they could not comment at this time.
Several residents contacted RNRF last night, after they observed numerous deputies, a K-9 unit, and a helicopter searching the area of Pinehurst Drive and Spring Hill Drive. RNRF received unconfirmed reports that an armed robbery occurred at the Walgreens Drug store, but the Sheriff’s Office declined to comment on the incident.
On Tuesday, RNRF received information of shots fired in or around 13083 Curry Drive. That is the same residence where three suspects reside, who were allegedly involved in a March 3rd Burglary of a home on Belkton Ave. You may recall RNRF’s dramatic video of their arrest, which led to allegations of racial discrimination (VIDEO).
When we asked the Sheriff’s Office for details on the shooting, but once again we were told that it is an open investigation and they were unable to release information at this time.
We will bring more on these stories if additional information is provided.
