Three Vehicles and Three Possibly Injured in Crash on Cortez Blvd

BROOKSVILLE – Fire Rescue is on the scene of a three vehicle injury accident at the intersection of Cortez Blvd and Nightwalker Road. There are unconfirmed reports that three people sustained injuries in the crash and may be transported to area hospitals for treatment.

  • Jaycee, what was the charge on the ticket. Because if you are hit from behind it is undoubtedly that persons fault for neglect to observe a stopped vehicle in front of you. You might want to speak with the Deputy who issued the ticket. It does not seem right.

  • I was one of the cars in this accident, I was taken to hospital. Begging anyone out there that witnessed the accident to contact me. I was stopped at the red light and creamed from behind and somehow was ticketed for fault of this accident. [email protected]

    • That figures, You were stopped at a red light, hit from behind and you were ticketed,. What violation could have you committed if you were stopped and hit from behind and now your insurance co will probably conjure up a way to increase your rates.

  • Global guy they’ll never finish it. They only have a handful of workers there at any given time, then a few weeks ago on Hwy 41 and Powell road there is D.A.B. Construction starting another project with more men than I have ever seen on a road project. To me the company is over extended.They need to get their butts in gear before the summer rains come everyday, but that will be just another excuse . I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THEM DRAGGING THIER FEET.

  • Maybe someday in our lifetime they will complete the WPA project on Cortez (Hwy. 50) and the thousands of barrels will be gone. What gas it been. 3 years of construction already?
