  • My heart goes out to the loved ones.
HOWEVER, when do we start holding the parents/caretakers responsible.?
Children of this age should never be left alone without eyes on them, especially outside!
They can not only wander off and drown in a body of water, they can be ABDUCTED, RAPED and MURDERED!!
    Watch your kids, damn it!!!!!!

  • Deceased or not, the big question is why would anyone buy a home next to a body of water like that? Even swimming pools have to be fenced, by law. There are no laws for ponds, only caution. Children of any age are so fast. The yard should have been fenced and secure. Hope he survives, and the family has learned by this tragic mistake.

  • I’m confused the article reads the child is in critical condition in the hospital and also that the child drowns. I checked Bay Nine News and their calling it a near drowning and the child is alive in the hospital. Which is it Tom?

  • Another example of parents not paying attention. If you’re not willing to watch your kids, please hire a baby sitter.
