Toddler Killed and Two Others Injured in ATV Accident

WILDWOOD (SUMTER) – Heartbreaking news to report this morning, as a family grieves the loss of a toddler and two others are hospitalized in serious condition.

According to officials, 2-year-old Jakhyrian Ghram died, after an ATV driven by 28-year-old Terry Killings, struck him and 56-year-old Johnny Williams on CR-235, near NE 6th Street.

Ghram was transported to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, where he later died from his injuries. Williams was taken to Ocala Regional, where he was listed in serious condition, at the time of the crash. Killings sustained serious injuries, after he was ejected from the ATV and transported to Ocala Regional for treatment.

Officials say the ATV was removed from the scene of the crash before it could be inspected by investigators; its whereabouts is still unknown at this time.

Alcohol has not been ruled out as a factor and charges are pending.
