Two Airlifted to Trauma Center After Rollover Crash
UPDATE: 11/11/2018. 10:30 A.M. – The Florida Highway Patrol has identified both occupants involved in the crash.
Officials say the driver, Randall E. Thompson, 20, and Brittany Nicole Harrington, 19, were traveling southbound on US-41 when for reasons unknown Thompson lost control of the vehicle, crossed the median, and overturned several times.
Thompson and Harrington were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle. Both victims were airlifted to Bayonet Point Hospital where they are listed in critical condition.
BROOKSVILLE – At least two people suffered traumatic injuries in a single vehicle rollover crash on US-41 (Broad Street).
According to sources, two victims were ejected from a pickup truck that overturned in the area of Mason Smith Road.
Both patients are being airlifted to local trauma centers for treatment.
The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
There is complete road blockage in the northbound lanes at this time.
