Two Charged After Failed Department Store Shoplifting Attempt
BROOKSVILLE – A pair of shoplifters are behind bars this evening, thanks to the watchful eyes of department store employees and a quick response from local law enforcement. Soon after the call, Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a red Dodge Magnum in front of Evergreen Atria on Cortez Blvd and detained the male driver and female passenger. It was soon determined that the female was their suspect in the theft and the driver was her accomplice.
