Two Charged with First Degree Murder – Third Faces Child Sex Crime Charges
HERNANDO – Sheriff’s Deputies and Brooksville Police Officers assisted Clearwater Detectives in capturing two men today, both wanted on charges of First Degree Murder out of their agency.
27-year-old Alex Trovone Richardson of 10185 Foley Street, Brooksville and 19-year-old Excel Lawson of 40 Oak Street, also in Brooksville, were taken into custody earlier this morning.
Richardson was arrested by Brooksville Police, at the Habitat for Humanity office, located at 19450 Cortez Blvd. Lawson was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputies, reportedly at an address on Ray Drive in Weeki Wachee.
Clearwater Police Spokesperson, Robert Shaw, would only say that the case is an “open investigation” and could not provide further details at this time.
Another open investigation; this one under the authority of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, began yesterday at an address on Lawrence Street in Spring Hill.
FDLE Spokesperson, Samantha Andrews could not comment on the presence of FDLE investigators in the area or the covert looking white mobile unit parked in the driveway.
The only arrest made in the area today, that may be related to the State agency’s activity is 38-year-old Michael James Clark, of Bradenton Florida. Clark is currently behind bars, held without bond on charges of Sexual Assault on a Minor and Possession of Child Pornography. It cannot be confirmed if Clark’s arrest is related to the FDLE investigation at this time.
We will bring more on these investigations as additional information is provided by authorities.
