Violent Felon Leads Deputies on High-Speed Pursuit, Causes Three Crashes
PORT RICHEY (PASCO) – Earlier this afternoon, RNRF received dozens of tips from concerned citizens regarding a high-speed pursuit in the area of SR-52.
According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, deputies attempted to serve a several outstanding warrants on their “Target of the Month,” 20-year-old Angel Hernandez, when he fled from them in a vehicle. A pursuit ensued through residential neighborhoods until he was captured in the area of Little Road and Embassy Blvd.
Officials say Hernandez is a violent felon and he will face charges of Fleeing to Elude, Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle on LEO, Burglary, and leaving the scene of three separate crashes. Additional charges are expected, say officials.
There were no injuries reported and the investigation continues.
