Westbound County Line Road Shut Down After Diesel Fuel Spill

SPRING HILL – Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a dump truck accident this afternoon, which punctured one of the fuel tanks and spilled approximately 60 gallons of diesel onto the pavement.

The accident occurred in the westbound lanes of County Line Road at Dartmouth Ave, causing traffic to be diverted through Cactus Circle.

The road is expected to be shut down for several more hours, while road crews replace damaged asphalt.

There are no reports of serious injuries as a result of the accident.

  • Was it a county dump truck involved in the accident or a private trucking company ?

  • No other vehicle was involved…the rear axle of the dump truck broke off from the truck leaving the truck disabled which must of punctured the fuel tank to spill the diesel
