Woman Arrested After Bringing Cocaine and Meth to Jury Selection
NEW PORT RICHEY – A New Port Richey woman selected for Jury duty was arrested Monday, after brining illegal narcotics to the Pasco County Government Center.
39-year old Kristine Victoria Mittler was passing through the metal detectors at the entrance to the West Pasco Government Center on Little Road, when she set off the alarm. A check of her pockets revealed two small foil packets that contained cocaine and a straw that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Mittler was taken into custody and charged with possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and paraphernalia.
Mittler was in the process or becoming a juror but had not been officially chosen.
