Woman Beats Grandmother During Supervised Child Visitation
BROOKSVILLE – A woman is behind bars today, after she tried to remove her child from a supervised visitation session – beating her own Grandmother in the process.
According to Brooksville Police, 20-year-old Starr Bradley lost custody of her 21-month old child but was allowed supervised visits at her Grandmother’s home. During a visit last Friday, Bradley attempted to remove her child from her Grandmother’s residence. When Bradley’s 76-year-old Grandmother tried to stop her, she was violently attacked.
During the investigation, Police noticed chunks of hair torn from the victim’s head, consistent with her testimony.
Bradley was taken into custody and charged with Interfering with Child Custody and Battery on a person over the age of 65. Bradley remains behind bars, held on a $7,000 bond.
