Woman Beats Grandmother During Supervised Child Visitation

BROOKSVILLE – A woman is behind bars today, after she tried to remove her child from a supervised visitation session – beating her own Grandmother in the process.

According to Brooksville Police, 20-year-old Starr Bradley lost custody of her 21-month old child but was allowed supervised visits at her Grandmother’s home. During a visit last Friday, Bradley attempted to remove her child from her Grandmother’s residence. When Bradley’s 76-year-old Grandmother tried to stop her, she was violently attacked.

During the investigation, Police noticed chunks of hair torn from the victim’s head, consistent with her testimony.

Bradley was taken into custody and charged with Interfering with Child Custody and Battery on a person over the age of 65. Bradley remains behind bars, held on a $7,000 bond.

  • Just so all you guys know she got out and charges where dropped. The mother was protecting her child. She is a good mom. It’s sad how quick people on here are quick to judge some one who is innocent and don’t take the time to follow up with the story That was posted on here. So before you guys judge know the headline start to finish. She is not charged with anything and she not behind bars.

I hope your mommy is cooking you a nice Thanksgiving turkey or did one of your babies daddy’s get out of jail and he’s cooking for ya. Poor tiffany, she is so disliked here, rather sad indeed.

  • I think it’s sad that a 76-year old grandmother who has already brought up her children (probably grandchildren too), should have to parent her great-granddaughter as well. That is sad in and of itself. The fact that she was willing to try to keep up with a two year old is exhausting enough, but to offer the added stress of visitations…wow, this young lady should be thankful for the love and care that her grandmother is extending. Praying for grandma’s hurts and heart to heal from this drama trauma.

    • I never lived in N.C., but I saw on FB about a family who lost custody of their children
had to visit kids at the courthouse.
That was/is a HIGH PROFILE CASE about Erica Lynn Parsons.
Google it and you will see why it is such a high profile case!
Very sad story. 🙁 I am still following that case.

      Monday, 23 November 2015, 8:24 pm
      • Erica’s body has never been found, and she was never seen after 2011,
in fact she was never even reported missing until the couples son
reported it in 2013. The parents name is, wife Casey, father Sandy Parsons.
And no the names are not a typo!

The story of Erica and the Parsons was shown on Dr Phil show,
the father showed clear deception on polygraph he took on Dr Phil,
the mother, Casey, never took the polygraph!!!

  • I’m a foster parent and they closed our local visitation center. DCF thinks it’s a good idea that we interact with the birth parents, then you read stories like this happening to an actual family member and it makes you think twice.

    Monday, 23 November 2015, 3:26 pm
    • They could use the courthouse for visitation.
      They use it in N.C.
I didn’t know they closed the Brooksville visitation center.
Or why not use a Guardian of Lidem for supervision??

      Monday, 23 November 2015, 4:58 pm
      • Cuz there is no shortage of Guardian ad Litem’s huh??

    Monday, 23 November 2015, 1:16 pm
  • Not high enough bond. Above comment is so correct..re: if she’ll beat on her grandmother , her child is definitely in danger.. Obviously not a good environment if the tot was taken away. Kids today have NO conscience , respect or common sense / self respect…

    Monday, 23 November 2015, 1:02 pm
  • This is why people who lose their kids should have
their supervised visitation at a visitation center!
I know this because I was a foster care mom.

    Monday, 23 November 2015, 12:17 pm
  • Another piece of s***.. I sure hope someone beats her to death. If she will do that to an elderly person let alone her grandmother, she will do it to her child. I hope she never gets her child back.
