Woman Charged with DUI After Crashing into K-9 Patrol SUV
BROOKSVILLE – A Spring Hill Woman is behind bars this morning, after she rear ended a K-9 Patrol SUV while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
Around 10:30 p.m. last night, A Hernando County Sheriff’s Deputy was rear ended by 27-year-old Shannon Marie Keller in the east bound lanes of Cortez Blvd at Sunshine Grove Road.
There were no injuries reported but the K-9 Deputy immediately suspected Keller to be under the influence.
After a battery of field sobriety exercises, Keller was placed into custody and charged with DUI and DUI with property damage. She remains behind bars on a $2,000 bond.
