Woman Flees from Several Traffic Stops, Deputies Wait for her to Come Home
WEEKI WACHEE – A woman is behind bars today after fleeing from Sheriff’s Deputies, not once, but three times yesterday.
According to reports, Deputy Daniel Whitlock attempted a traffic stop on 51-year-old Sienna Catherine Segur in the area of Sunshine Grove and Cortez Blvd, but when approached her vehicle she stated, “Oh, it’s you,” and sped away. Deputy Whitlock did not pursue but located Segur a short time later traveling on Mariner Blvd, where she fled again towards Jacqueline Road.
Deputy Nicolas Belfry joined the search and eventually located Segur traveling northbound on Sunshine Grove Road. After following her for short distance, Belfry activated his overhead lights and Segur stopped in the in the middle of the street. When Belfry approached her vehicle, Segur said she was having car trouble and began demanding to see identification, but once again, Segur suddenly sped away.
Deputies decided to wait for Segur to return to her residence at 11185 Squaw Ave, where she was taken into custody without further incident. But her troubles didn’t end there.
Segur’s neighbor currently has an active domestic violence injunction against her and is prohibited from driving in front of his residence. Deputies witnessed Segur do just that, prior to pulling into her own driveway. She was subsequently charged with violating the injunction.
Segur is charged with fleeing to elude, driving on a suspended license, failure to appear, and violating a domestic violence injunction.
Segur is currently held without bond.
