Woman Smashes Husband in Face with Frying Pan, Released on $50 Bond

DADE CITY (HERNANDO) – A verbal altercation between husband and wife turned violence Tuesday, after a woman picked up frying pan and brought to dispute to an end.

According to official reports, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 33180 Cassandra Way, after 28-year-old Cinthia Moreno allegedly struck her husband in the face with a frying pan.

The victim suffered minor injuries to his face, including a laceration to his eyebrow, but he refused medical treatment.

Moreno was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery.

Moreno posted a $50.00 bond this afternoon.

    • Actually the amount that is paid by the arrestee is only 10% of what the actually bail amount is. That is the reason for a bail bondsman. If she only paid $50, the bail amount would have been $500- which is the standard amount for a domestic battery.
