Woman Tells Children go to Their Rooms While She Executes Husband
SPRING HILL – Changing the locks nearly turned deadly for a Spring Hill man Saturday, after a domestic dispute led to his wife pulling a gun and the victim saying goodbye to the kids.
According to a Sheriff’s Office report, Jeffrey Turner and his wife, 39-year-old Angela Marie Turner began arguing at their home on Apple Orchard Drive, after Jeffrey returned home to find the locks changed on the doors. Jeffrey was able to gain access through the master bedroom and soon made contact with Angela in the living room. At that time, Angela told Jeffrey that if he didn’t leave she was going to shoot him. To avoid further confrontation, Jeffrey proceeded to the kitchen to hug their 4 children (ages 6-15) and say goodbye. While he was hugging the children, Angela pulled a .40 cal. handgun from her purse, pointed at her husband, and told the children to go to their rooms if they didn’t want to see their father’s blood everywhere.
In fear for his life and the safety of the children, Jeffrey told the now hysterical children, to go the RV so that they could leave the residence.
According to our sources, Jeffrey drove towards U.S. 19 with Angela following close behind in another vehicle. Eventually, Angela stopped following and Jeffrey met with deputies at a shopping plaza on U.S. 19.
Deputies located Angela at a business on County Line Road and Spring Time Street, where they placed her under arrest without incident.
Angela Turner is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and is free on $10,000 bond.
The pictures below were taken the moment deputies made contact with Turner on County Line Road.
