Yesterday’s Norbert and Harrow Accident Results in Arrest

SPRING HILL – Just when we thought the accident that occurred at the intersection Norbert Street and Harrow Ave couldn’t get any stranger, we’ve now received information that an arrest was made after the crash.

ORIGINAL REPORT: DEPUTY ROLLS UP ON THREE VEHICLE ACCIDENT WHILE TRANSPORTING PRISONER

This morning we received information from the Florida Highway Patrol, that the driver who cause the accident, 38-year-old Steven James Cline, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. But this wasn’t the first time; officials consider Cline to be a habitual offender due to numerous prior suspensions.

During the investigation, Cline tried to avoid arrest by providing a false name and date of birth. When the Trooper failed to find the name he provided on record, he placed him under arrest for driving without a license. Upon arrival at the County Jail, Cline revealed his true identity and was charged accordingly.

Two people were injured in the accident, but the severity of their injuries is unknown.

  • You know there are some real ruthless and heartless people out there. You know everybody always wants to be rude, negative and make comments about situations you don’t know. Instead of that why don’t people just send prayers to the family and keep negativity to theirselves. It’s a shame these people are in need of some serious prayers and healing and people just want to be rude. Prayers to those involved and I hope they get the healing they need. God please be with these people as they are struggling and need you to be with them.

    • But truth be told, if the POS wasn’t driving (because he didn’t have a license), this would have never taken place! Yes I give prayer to those injured by this POS, but he shouldn’t have been on the road to begin with!

  • There is no telling how many people just like him, are driving around without any insurance, no license and no care in the world about anybody else on the road, until they get into an accident. then maybe (God forbid) they hurt or kill someone, Then what? The penalties for driving without a license should be a lot more then just tickets and fines, because obviously they just get right back behind the wheel again. I bet if it wasn’t for the girlfriend sitting there(and it was probably her car), he would have ran! Habitual offender’s need to spend a lot more time behind bars, even after the first offense.

    • This accident would have never happened if an un licensed driver wasn’t driving, and you wouldn’t have to pray for everyone to be ok, because it wouldn’t have happened.
