Second Suspect in Dollar General Armed Robbery Captured

BROOKSVILLE – Moments ago, the second suspect in yesterdays’ armed robbery of a Dollar General Store was taken into custody.

Sheriff Al Nienhuis will hold a press conference later this morning to provide more details.

Robbery Suspect Dead in Deputy Involved Shooting - Second Suspect Still At Large

BROOKSVILLE – Earlier this afternoon, RNRF broke the news of a deputy involved shooting that occurred in the area of Saturn Road and Rackley Road. According to officials the suspect succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

Authorities are still searching for a second suspect who is described as a white male in his 20s, who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt. He is beleived to be armed and dangerous.

Residents living in this area are encouraged to remain indoors and to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.

BREAKING: Confirmed Deputy Involved Shooting - Alleged Robbery Suspect Down

BROOKSVILLE – Information is still developing but there are new details emerging in the search for a second suspect in today’s robbery of the Dollar General, located at 6336 Sherman Hills Blvd.

According to our sources, a witness followed the suspect vehicle (Pictured below) from the scene of the robbery to the intersection of Endsley Road Road and Culbreath Road, where the two suspects fled on foot. Soon after the search began, we reported that a Deputy involved shooting occurred in the area of Rackley Road and Saturn Road.

After a search of nearby wooded areas, one of the suspects emerged and was shot by a Hernando County Sheriff’s Deputy. The condition of the suspect is unknown at this time.
