BROOKSVILLE – Separate accidents on Mondon Hill Road injured at least 4 people this evening, including a motorcyclist who was airlifted to a local trauma center.

The first accident occurred just before 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Cortez Blvd and Mondon Hill Road, where three people were injured in a four-vehicle collision. All three patients were transported to Bayfront Hospital Brooksville, where there conditions are unknown at this time.

The second accident occurred almost simultaneously at the intersection of Mondon Hill Road and McIntyre Road.

Sources say the driver of a motorcycle sustained numerous compound fractures after he collided with another vehicle. The injuries were so severe that Bayflite responded to the scene and transported the victim to Bayonet Point Hospital for treatment.

There is no word at this time on the driver’s condition.
