Bomb Threat Prompts Increased Security Measures at Weeki Wachee Football Game

BOMB THREAT

WEEKI WACHEE – School Officials announced late this afternoon that a Weeki Wachee High School received an anonymous call of a possible bomb threat at this evening’s game against Hudson High School.

According to a statement posted on the Hernando County School’s Facebook Page, The District’s Safety and Security team is working with in conjunction with Pasco County officials in implementing additional safety measures.

Earlier today Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a thorough investigation and multiple sweeps of the campus, and football field.

Officials say there will be an increased presence of law enforcement and school staff. There will also be no parking in the south lot and deputies will be searching purses and small bags. Large bags will not be allowed on campus.

  1. These kids think it is funny to call in threats, but when they get caught, which they will, they will find out just how serious their actions and punishments are.
