UPDATE: 2/26/2016, 7:33 A.M. - A woman claiming to be Caleb Carroll’s girlfriend, Marissa Carreiro, says “He’s not a pervert he was not looking at the nine year old. He covered up as soon as he saw the girl not once did Carroll see a little boy. If Carroll was as sick as you guys are making him to be why didn’t he just masterbate infront of his nephews! UPDATE: 2/25/2016, 10:13 P.M. - The adult victim, Alexis Toth has asked RNRF to provided her account of what actually happened and clarify a few details. According to Toth, “This sick b****rd was parked next to my car. I didn’t notice anything until my little brother told me a man was staring at him. I told him to get in the car and when I finished getting the groceries in the car, I walked to the driver door and looked to my left to see this man still staring at us. I noticed that he was while he was masturbating. His penis was completely out and in his hand. Not only was this man masturbating in public in broad daylight. He also followed us to the dollar tree plaza. Everyone is accusing me and my brother of lying. Me & my brother did not ask for that encounter. I hope the judge will give us some kind of justice. And I hope nobody ever has to go through what we did.”
BROOKSVILLE – Officials with the Brooksville Police Department say they’ve arrested a man for committing lewd acts in front of a 9-year-old boy and his 19-year-old sister.
According to reports, 21-year-old, Caleb Wesley Carroll, parked next to the victim’s vehicle, in the parking lot of the Walmart on Broad Street. At some point, the 9-year-old boy noticed Carroll expose himself and begin to masturbate. He told his sister and they immediately drove to the Subway Sandwich Shop on Cortez Blvd. Surprisingly, Carroll followed them and parked across from their vehicle again. The victim’s called 911 and Police responded to their location.
Contact was made with Carroll, and as a result of the investigation he was placed under arrest.
Carroll faces charges of Lewd and Lascivious Exhibition with a victim under the age of 16. Carroll was released from jail early this morning on a $5,000 bond.

I agree, but it does not surprise me. I take notice of that in scenarios like this all the time. Let me know what the bail is the next time you see someone arrested for possession… it`s usually 3X 4X plus than if you got arrested for something as heinous as this. For the life of me, I have no idea how or why that is. I think it is a bad message they are sending future freaks…

HCSO has nothing to do with the bail set. It is an overworked, underpaid judge who has no room on his docket. This crap happens all the time. HCSO arrests them, and the courts release them.

Listen,the purpose of bail is to reasonably ensure that persons appearance in court.It is not supposed to some kind of pre-sentence punishment.If he has roots and a job in the community and no record,probably should be no bail.Sounds like he might be safer in jail than deal with the girls kin….Maybe he’s “autistic”and got booted off a school bus…
Theres a bond schedule that has to be followed. They follow the rules set, dont like them, contact your government officials but I do agree that if he was smoking a little grass he probably would still be sitting in jail. Too bad she wasnt carrying a big can of bear mace..

I had an encounter similar to this when I was 17. I am now 23. Some mexicans lived next door to my family and the oldest guy and his son would stare into my living room from their house and watch me and my mother and they would masturbate. Proud veteran, the police did not catch him with his penis in his hand because he followed us to another store. Due to me & my brothers explicit statements as well as evidence they found, it was enough to arrest him. He told my mom & a police officer he was not at Walmart. They have evidence he was at Walmart, parked next to my car. We were so scared when we realized he had followed us to dollar tree. I will never forget this encounter & neither will my brother. As for his girlfriend, I understand she is stressed & pregnant with his child but she needs to open her eyes & realize before it’s too late. There is absolutely no need for me & my brother to lie. Nothing good is coming out of this. Only thing coming out of this is a memory that will never fade & extra stress me & my family do not need. I don’t understand how she can defend someone like that.
