Motorcyclist Airlifted to Trauma Center After Colliding with SUV

SPRING HILL – Fire Rescue is on the scene of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Mariner Blvd and Red Coach Street.

There are unconfirmed reports that the motorcyclist was unconscious when Paramedics arrived on the scene. Bayflite will be transporting the patient to a local trauma center for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.

The exact cause of the crash is unknown but it is believed that the motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the Jeep pictured below.

Northbound traffic has been diverted to side streets and southbound is reduced to one lane.

  1. My 18 year old brother raced dirtbie 11/18 years on Earth! The bikes don’t kill you its each rider’s responsibility to adhere to the rules or the road also!!!! They shimmy in and out of occupied lanes and think they are invincible! I’m not saying thats what happened in this story cuz idk but in general they put themselves in harms way willingly
