One Injured in Rollover Accident - Elgin and Barclay
SPRING HILL – Fire Rescue responded to a two vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of Elgin Blvd and Barclay Ave that injured one person. According to the uninjured driver of the SUV, the driver of the silver sedan attempted to pass him in the westbound lanes of Elgin Blvd. He claims the silver car clipped his front bumper, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The injured driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.

If this driver “clipped” the front bumper of the SUV, then that means he was deliberately trying to cut him off by cutting it too close in his rapid lane change. And to roll his car in the process says these two must have been going pretty fast. Had he been going slower, he most likely would have just spun out. If I were guessing here…sounds like a bit of road rage maybe?
