Two Airlifted to Trauma Centers After Vehicle Collision, 15-Year-Old Among the Injured

BROOKSVILLE – At least two people have been airlifted to trauma centers after a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd and Main Street.

One of the patients is reportedly a 15-year-old teenage boy and the other a female whose age is unknown.

There is complete road blockage in all directions except westbound on Martin Luther King Blvd, left onto Main Street.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

  1. What’s the odds these cars were traveling the posted 30mph speed limit in the attached picture of the crash scene ? Slow the heck down hernando county drivers !

    1. I was work’n at the Dana’s Crossroads Bar n Grill - catty corner from the crash site. 3 vehicles involved in the crash n the driver of the grey car, ran the stop sign that developed into this mess.

  2. My nephew was one of the ones bay flighted. His aunt was the other one who was bay flighted. The driver of his car was going 30 maybe 35 the lady was going 60 and didn’t stop at the stop sign. My nephew is home and managing. His aunt could use some prayers

  3. Im just grateful that I’m never hit by ANY of these road ‘idiots’ here in Hernando. Not sure how I manage to come and go up and down 19, Spring Hill Dr, Mariner and County Line every week unscathed. I believe in guardian angels, and mine MUST be doing a great job…thank you Jesus!

  4. My daughter was the one bay flighted out . She has abad truma to her head and dont remember the wreck, or why she is in the hospital. I hope the lady got a ticket for speeding she was doing no 30 miles at the looks of the cars..thank you to all that help my grandson and my daughter.

  5. Thank you for the update on her. She gave me a few good scares while I was stabilizing her before EMS arrived. She is a fighter. I hope and pray she has a full and quick recovery. Officer Stockton from the Brooksville PD was helping, as well as another man that came upon the scene. I have no idea who he was but he didnt hesitate to get involved.
