Woman Could Face Charges after Crashing a Stolen Car

SPRING HILL – A strange chain of events may lead to the arrest of a woman, suspected of crashing stolen car.

According to our sources, Fire Rescue responded to the corner of Elgin Blvd and Sterling Hills Blvd (west), after a passerby observed a woman wandering aimlessly and appeared to be under distress.

At the same time, Deputies were investigating a stolen vehicle, found parked in the grass on Sterling Hills Blvd.

The woman, whose identity has not been released, told paramedics that she was suffering from a diabetic episode; however, there is also suspicion that the woman may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The owner of the vehicle was transported by deputies to the scene, where he retrieved his vehicle. It is believed that the victim signed a complaint against the woman, which may lead to her arrest, once she is medically cleared.

The woman was transported to Oak Hill Hospital, where her condition remains unknown.
