UPDATE: 6/1/2016, 11:22 A.M. - The following statement was provided the Brooksville Police Department regarding yesterday’s shooting incident.

BROOKSVILLE – Deputies are on the scene of a multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Barclay Ave and Astaire Lane (Entrance to Shalishan Assisted Living Facility).

WEEKI WACHEE – Yesterday, RNRF reported the drowning death of a 16-year-old boy who was found floating a few hundred feet away from Rogers Park in the Weeki Wachee River.
