ya real nice these high speed pursuits should not be allowed putting peoples lifes at risk let the jerks go and follow with the helicopter til they crash and burn. STOP high speed pursuits this is what killed one of Hernandos deputys in the past! its not worth it. Radio ahead and make a road block! 16 speeding patrol cars is just asking for trouble an innocent person or depputy again will get killed!

My old stomping grounds, Milwaukee, decided to do non pursuit. That’s worked out well (*sarcasm*) Since then, stolen cars have gone through the roof and the number of fatalities from those stolen cars has gone through the roof with it. Why? Because when they spot a cop, they automatically take off anyway, only now it’s because they know the cops can’t pursue. And then they kill someone down the way. Oh and for good measure, they’re taking videos of themselves taking off from cops and posting them online.
Larry is right. Nothing is worth an innocent man’s life. Setup a road block…call pasco county to help…high speed chase is dangerous especially with motorcycles.
You know what would save lives ? Locking these dirt bags up and keeping them !! The punishments these young people get are a damn joke !! I’m sure this isn’t these idiots first rodeo !! Smarten up people !! Get off the streets, give them longer, harder sentences and maybe we would be able to sleep better at night knowing they’re off the streets !!
I agree larry,persuits are dangerous and stupid,especially during the day with people commuting to/from work kids going to school ect.let em go catch em later,a stolen car is not worth my or any childs life.a murder or violent crime maybe but more discretion is needed.how would you feel if your child was killed for a suspect that stole a kit kat from 7/11.
They almost all end in a wreck and mostly only innocent people are killed or seriously injured,almost never the suspect.
