  1. People won’t do anything until a plane falls on a house and kills a bunch of people. If residents had wanted to live by an airport they would have moved to Tampa. Again, our worthless politicians making improvements that we don’t need nor want, hmm, brooksville Tampa regional airport, just where did that come from, our fearless leader, big nick and motley crew.

  2. It was an airport long before people lived around there, with the exception of some farms. People buy houses on Springhill Dr and complain about the traffic, go figure. .

  3. Woody,
Just what’s so wrong with wanting an airport?
I’ve lived in Hernando County since mid 1982, and have prayed for this local treasure to open for commercial travel ever since. I’m just sorry nay-sayers like you have prevented it from happening for so long!

  4. Woody, FYI, This airport has been around long before you probably moved here. Your remarks are just simply ridiculous. This airport was here long before many of these homes were built. If you don’t like living by one than you should have not moved by one. My house is in the path of these planes when they are enroute to the airstrip, yea it scares me especially after the most recent one crashed 3 houses from my house however, that’s life, either live with it or move.
