UPDATE: 9/24/2017, 1:58 P.M. – The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Gene Arden Leavitte Jr. Officials say Leavitte struck a utility pole while traveling southbound on US-41. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

BROOKSVILLE – Law enforcement is on the scene of motorcycle crash that has claimed the life of one person.

BROOKSVILLE – The suspect in an alleged bank robbery that occurred at the Capital City Bank on Cortez Blvd has been shot by Police, after sources say he held a hostage at knifepoint.

SPRING HILL – A death investigation is underway at the Publix Supermarket located at County Line Road and Anderson Snow Road, after a woman’s body was discovered inside an abandoned vehicle.

SPRING HILL – A two vehicle crash injured at least one person and has blocked Mariner Blvd at Hearth Road.

SPRING HILL – A bank robber might get away with one – maybe two – robberies in the same area but when the same suspect robs the same bank twice, in less than a month, he’s probably not the “brightest” criminal, if there is such a thing. But that’s exactly what officials say 46-year-old John Lowell Goff of Eufaula, Alabama did, when he robbed a BB&T bank on Spring Hill Drive yesterday, for the second time in a less than a month.

SPRING HILL (PASCO) – Fire Rescue responded to 17022 Eldridge Ave today, after neighbors reported a possible meth lab explosion inside a mobile home.

UPDATE: 4:59 P.M. – Sources tell RNRF that Fire Rescue has responded to the Sheriff’s Office, after one of the suspects claimed to suffer from chest pain. There are no further details at this time.

SPRING HILL – For the second time is less than a month, the BB&T Bank at Spring Hill Drive and Commercial Way has been robbed – but this time they didn’t get away.
