SPRING HILL – A two-vehicle crash injured at least one person and demolished a bus stop near the intersection of Mariner Blvd and Hearth Road.
One person was transported locally for minor injuries and two others refused treatment at the scene.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
There is some road blockage in the northbound lanes.

I have seen more accidents on that intersection than anywhere else. It really needs a stoplight. Maybe Chase Bank will help fund it (seriously).

You obviously are young and didn’t know that…or you just haven’t lived in this county long enough to know that. Not sure which, but bottom line….it won’t happen. Trust me.

The reason is cause teens were playing chicken in the road I was there and i almost hit one

They need to put a median in that area too keep driver’s from using the turn lane as their own personal passing Lane. Someone is going to get killed in that area unless they actually do something!!!
you are right mary. these they people need to put like 20 stop signs a median some more traffic lights and maybe a few barricades and while they are at it flashing lights probably at least a few traffic directing people. send out some instructional videos and did i leave anything out? bc it the evil road and lack of traffic regulation and never the people behind the wheel. how many medians do you think would of prevented this? 2 maybe 3? does it need to have the pretty wild flowers in it or should it be concrete with a few reflectors on it? some one get mary a chair up front. this person is going places with ideas like this. mary you need to get in touch with the department of transportation, they need people like you asap. here i am thinking you know people need to get their head out of their … and on the road but mary you just opened my eyes up to the wonderful world of medians. thank you.
Very dangerous intersection. I almost had a head on collision there yesterday. County should install turn lanes just like at the Winn Dixie on SHD & Mariner.
I E mailed the county years ago.If they put NO LEFT TURN signs at each spot on both sides of the road it would eliminate a lot of problems.You would HAVE to make a right when exiting.
I’m surprised their isn’t more accidents here. Theirs too much traffic, too many entrances and exits, and too many people that have no defensive driving skills or regular driving skills for that matter.
