    1. Why is it that once a child gets hurt all the sudden, the first thing people say is get dcf involved. Realizing that maybe just maybe it was a legit accident? Dcf is a double edged sword and can do alot of emotional damage and stress on the children as well as help those who really are abused. This person wasn’t beating them kids but rather entertaining them and spending quality time with them . It doesn’t say faul play was done or abuse. Simply that a accident happened and children were hurt. Maybe a child excited to go for a ride ran out infront of the atv and caused them to turn fast or roll. I am not saying that dcf should not follow up and see what happened but that shouldn’t be the first thing to enter peoples mind. I’m more worried about the children and their conditions and hope that they recover from this. And for the adult involved ,I know they are going thru alot and assure you that if it was a true accident that they themselves are feeling enough guilt and only had the best intentions for giving the kids and fun time. I’m a parent myself and have 4 boys under 10 and they love to go trail riding and if something happened to them I would only hope that people would see the bigger picture rather than automatically judge and get Dcf involved without knowing the whole story.

  1. What is wrong with parents?? A 7 y.o. and atv?? Don’t you have any more sense than the kids??? You are supposed to be making sure nothing happens to your children as a parent NOT BEING THEIR PLAYMATE IN STUPIDITY!!! My prayers for recovery of these children. Adult male,as far as I’m concerned, needs to be investigated by cps along with mother for allowing such idiocy.

  2. Hope they were wearing head gear…… get up dust them off and giver another try thats the way to either learn and live or the other option. pray you get the chance to make that decision. smh

  3. Are you kidding me with some of these comments. These parents just lost a child. Don’t dare blame them. Not one parent alive can say they haven’t taken their eyes off their child for a few minutes or looked back and thought to themselves later, maybe we shouldn’t have let them do that. Shame on you people bashing parents that have just lost a child. Pray for this family and for yourself. You need prayers for judging this poor family.
