INVERNESS - The City of Inverness has issued a 48-hour boil water notice system-wide.
Lighting struck the main water plant just after 7pm and caused widespread outages in the City of Inverness. Officials estimate water will be back on within 2-3 hours. Please be cautious if you are a City of Inverness Utility customer, and boil all water used for drinking or cooking over the next 48 hours.
