BROOKSVILLE – One person is dead and a suspected drunk driver is behind bars, after two vehicles collided last evening on Centralia Road.

UPDATE: 10:37 P.M. - The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed one fatality.

BROOKSVILLE – A two-vehicle crash has injured at least two people at the intersection of Sunshine Grove Road and Centralia Road.

DADE CITY (PASCO) – A person of interest has been identified in a late-night hit and run that injured a Dade City Police Officer, according to officials. (ORIGINAL REPORT)

UPDATE: 12/3/2017, 12:04 A.M. - The following is a statement from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office: Pasco deputies are searching for the suspect vehicle in tonight’s hit and run near State Street and Moceri Avenue in Dade City that injured a Dade City Police officer around 10pm.

The vehicle is described as a mid-size sedan that is light in color, such as white, silver or gray. It also struck another vehicle while fleeing and should have front driver-side damage with blue paint transfer on it.

Anyone who sees such a vehicle should call 911 immediately.

UPDATE: 11:46 P.M. - There are unconfirmed report that the suspect’s vehicle is a grey car with bullet holes in the rear and damage to the front. The suspect is possibly a black male.

DADE CITY (PASCO) – Information is still developing but officials have confirmed that a Dade City Police Officer was struck by a vehicle in the area of State Street.

BROOKSVILLE – A woman is behind bars this evening, after sources say she ran over her husband with car and then fled the scene.

SPRING HILL – For the second time this week, a pedestrian suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a shopping plaza parking lot.

HUDSON (PASCO) – An early morning hit and run crash claimed the life of a Hudson man, after a suspected drunk driver struck a bicycle and fled the scene.

But that doesn’t stop some people from believing it’s okay to possess the drug, and in some cases, call police when someone steals their stash.

UPDATE: 11/29/2017, 12:05 p.m. - According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 83-year-old Mary Zemcik was traveling in front of the Winn Dixie grocery store, as 67-year-old Maria Resendes Pavao was crossing the street in the designated crosswalk. Zimcik failed to stop for Pavao and ran over her.

Witnesses tell RNRF that several people lifted the car off Pavao before paramedics arrived on scene, but that has not been confirmed.

Pavao was airlifted to Bayonet Point Hospital where she later died.

Charges are pending, according to officials.

WEEKI WACHEE – A woman died this morning after sources say she was run over by a car in front of a local grocery store.

HOMOSASSA (CITRUS) – Human remains discovered inside a trash can last week have been positively identified as that of missing Homosassa man, 33-year-old Ryan Michael McClellan.
