BROOKSVILLE – At least two people were injured this afternoon, including young children, after a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Broad Street and Wiscon Road.
The collision caused heavy damage to the small compact car, which was occupied by at least two children. Sources say the injuries are not considered to be life-threatening and all patients were transported locally for treatment.
There is some road blockage in the northbound lanes at this time.

Does anymore know how to drive around here , it’s unreal day in and day out
Another serious rear end collision at that intersection, I wonder if it was do to the red light cameras install there or if the person that slammed into the back of that car was tail gating or just not paying attention to their driving.
My first thought exactly
im thinking the cameras didnt have anything to do with the fact the driver was following to close to stop. now they can refer to the cameras to see whos at fault even thought a rear end collision the driver who rear ends the car usually gets cited following to close or careless driving. i know i was in a rear end collision.
Hope everyone ok, poor children. I say tailgating, what else could it be? Stop for yellow light, or even a red light, get hit from behind.
Put the Damn phones down , stop tailgating and pay attention Hernando drivers! Hope everyone is ok……
no just somebody multitasking, NOT PAYING ATTENTION, BEING STUPID
