ZEPHYRHILLS (PASCO) – Authorities are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with two Home Depot heists, where the thieves activated $6,900 worth of credit cards and assaulted a clerk and one shopper.
According to officials, a black female and two black males, one dressed as a woman, entered the Home Depot on Eiland Blvd and took several gift cards to the self-checkout area. The suspect who was dressed as a woman approached the clerk and pushed her out of the way (WATCH SURVEILLANCE VIDEO BELOW). The suspect took his time in activating $1,900 worth of Visa and Mastercard gift cards and then fled the scene.
A few hours later, the same suspects entered the Home Depot on US 441 in Lady Lake and stole $5,000 worth of gift cards.According to the victim, the crossdressing suspect is described as being approximately 30-years-old, wore a dark shoulder length wig, and dress with orange and white horizontal stripes. The second suspect was described as a black female, approximately 20-year-old, with unkempt collar length hair, and was wearing a blue shirt and blue pants. The third suspect was described as a black male, approximately 30 years old, with a faded flat top haircut, and was wearing a light color shirt with an emblem on front.
