UPDATE: 7:40 P.M. - Firefighters are back burning areas near the original fire to prevent flare-ups. There will be smoke and visible flames throughout the evening. This is an intentional measure performed by the Division of Forestry.
SPRING HILL – Firefighters are currently battling three separate brush fires behind residences on Lauren Drive.
There are unconfirmed reports that all three blazes are approximately 100 yards apart and may have been intentionally set.
It is not known at this time how many acres have been scorched but officials believe they have all three fires under control.
The Division of Forestry is also on scene assisting with heavy machinery.
