Yesterday, Real News Real Fast reported on a fire at Osprey Avenue. While at the scene, we talked to family members who lived at the residence. Two older children were at the home when the fire started. They got out of the house. The mother was on scene shortly after. And, a vehicle that was in the garage at the time was moved after the fire was under control in an attempt to save the vehicle. So, the house was occupied. The Hernando Today reported that the house was not occupied which is information they gathered from the County Director of Public Safety, Mike Nickerson. Granted it was a busy day with fires late yesterday and confusion reigned. We just wanted to set the record straight.
