RIDGE MANOR – Dozens of Sheriff’s Deputies and Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are searching for a suspect who fled from Troopers at a high-rate of speed, and is now on foot in the area of Cortez Blvd and Treiman Blvd.
According to unconfirmed reports, Troopers pursued the suspect vehicle at speeds topping 100 MPH until they conducted a PIT Maneuver (Pursuit Intervention Technique) on Cortez Blvd, bringing the chase to an end. That’s when the suspect fled on foot from the vehicle and is believed to be hiding in the southwest corner of Cortez Blvd and Treiman Blvd.
There are several K-9 and an Aire Unit actively searching for the suspect at this time.
Sources say the suspect is identified as 36-year-old David Russell Frey and he may be wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts.
There are unconfirmed reports that he may be armed with a knife and that the vehicle may be stolen.
A female occupant was transported by ground to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

I seen the high speed chase in Bushnell I was on 48 i thought cops are not allowed Chase in heavy populated areas especially if it’s under construction very dangerous I think God that nobody didn’t get hurt and they got him
