Spring Hill Drive is shut down because of a three car pile up that has taken out a power pole and wires are down across the road. Spring Hill Fire Rescue and Fire Police along with Hernando County Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene. At least one person is being taken to the hospital. The accident include a Dodge Pickup pulling a trailer, a Dodge muscle car and a Chevy Impala. We talked to a witness of the accident who was behind the Impala that started the whole thing. He said that the woman driving was apparently texting, he thought, and she was serving inside her lane when she then caught the curb, over corrected and knocked the power pole down and then proceeded across all four lanes hitting the other two vehicles. The driver of the Dodge car was taken to the hospital. Everyone else appeared to be fine.
