BROOKSVILLE – The majority of Hernando County’s drug arrests are for suspects in possession of methamphetamine, prescription drugs, and marijuana. But a recent investigation by Vice and Narcotics Detectives with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office yielded a substantial amount of MDMA, commonly referred to as ecstasy.
According to officials, Detectives intercepted a package of MDMA that was shipped to 965 Candlelight Blvd, inside Candlelight Apartments. The package was addressed to 23-year-old Daniel Lucht, and upon inspecting the contents of the package, detectives located 201 pink tablets of MDMA shaped like dominos.
A controlled delivery of the package was performed and shortly after the delivery, Lucht’s roommate, 19-year-old Zachery Bilinski, arrived home. A search warrant of Lucht’s apartment was executed immediately.
As a result of the search warrant, detectives located and recovered the package that was delivered and the MDMA from inside Lucht’s residence. Detectives also seized three computers that were used to order the MDMA, 93 small plastic Ziploc-type baggies, and a marijuana smoking pipe.
Post Miranda, Lucht admitted to purchasing the 200 tablets of MDMA for $500 over the internet. He told detectives that Bilinski provided $100 toward the purchase. Lucht told detectives that “they” sold the pills for less than regular street value and that “they” did it to help pay the bills.
Post Miranda, Bilinski also admitted to his involvement with the sale and possession of the MDMA.
Both individuals told detectives they do not sell in Hernando, but travel to clubs in Tampa and Orlando to “conduct their business.”
Bilinksi and Lucht face charges of Trafficking in MDMA and other related charges. Both are free on $11,000 bond each.
It should be noted that Daniel Lucht is currently enrolled in nursing school at Pasco Hernando State College (PHSC).

MDMA (Active ingredient in ecstasy) is not physically addictive. People can do whatever they like to their own lives, it doesn’t effect you. People have gotten high since the start of time, they’re not going to stop now. Do a bit of research on the war on drugs and you will see how much BS it is.

Alcohol is physically addictive, damages organs mainly the liver, one of the leading causes of car accidents, inhibits brain development in adolescents, causes pancreatitis. I can say that rarely people become addicted to mdma as the results from using it reduce by so much after one or two times in one night. A drug like heroin is addictive and will ruin your life because you chase the high all the time you crave it. The people that commit about this being a dangerous drug you do realize it’s called the “love drug” for a reason people become happy and open themselves not get high and become thieves or destroy things like someone smoking crack.

Funny that most you if not any of you know him personally. I knew this guy for 5 years and I’ve seen what he was like start to finish when it came to him using and selling MDMA and trust me it was no relation WHATSOEVER for any therapeutic use. He did this specifically for the money, power and attention that came along with it. He nearly killed someone because of how much was given, including himself. He also purposely drugged people who would refuse to take it. I was at the parties and outings so I observed myself. My close friends lived with him and before be took part in this stupidity I dated him for a few months. He used to be this sweet metalhead who was close to his friends and just started becoming a CNA and had his life together, next thing you know he’s handing this out like complimentary mints and got people hooked, once again himself as well. He was addicted and then turned against everyone who really cared for him, he would even sell to people who lived in his building. Got caught a few months after that and had the lplace raided. They all got evicted and had to live else where and guess what happened? He continued selling more and more and had people bowing to his every whim. He became heavily invested and even fucked over another dealer he was in contact with and had him chasing him down which is why he moved from Wisconsin to Florida in the first place and of course he continues down there. This is only some of the many things he did to intentionally fuck up. So don’t act like you guys know otherwise you sound just as idiotic at his other drugged up kissing henchmen
