Two Indicted for 1st Degree Murder In Brutal Killing of Composer Terry Plumeri

CITRUS – A grand jury has indicted 42-year-old Darren Decker and 45-year-old Jessica Baker in the brutal March killing of world-renowned composer Terry Plumeri.

Officials say Plumeri was murdered in his Dunellon home during a home invasion robbery committed by Baker and Decker. Deputies discovered Plumeri bound, beaten and stabbed several times during a welfare check on April 1st.

The pair is also suspected of committing a string of burglaries prior to their arrest on April 18th.

Baker and Decker face charges of 1st Degree Murder and Armed Home Invasion Burglary.

A trial date has yet to be determined.
