BROOKSVILLE – Fire Rescue is on the scene of a crash involving a vehicle into a building at the intersection of Broad Street and Mildred Ave.
CORRECTION: Sources say a vehicle crashed into building located across the street from Maw’s Vittles Restaurant around 8:00 p.m. The driver suffered injuries to his head and abdomen and will be airlifted to a local trauma center for treatment. There are no reports of injuries inside the building.
The Building Department will be inspecting the building due to severe damage to the structure.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
