CRYSTAL RIVER - A U.S. Army Veteran and armed security guard is behind bars this evening, after officials say he admitted to molesting a 3-year-old little girl.
According to Officials, 40-year-old Jeremy Tilton is accused of molesting his girlfriend’s 3-year-old daughter. During an interview with investigators Tilton denied ever touching his step-daughter and agreed to take a polygraph test to prove his innocence. The results of the test led investigators to believe that Tilton was not being truthful; subsequently, Tilton confessed molesting the little girl.
Tilton is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation on a victim under the age of twelve, and is currently behind bars, held without bond.
There are unconfirmed reports that the victim’s mother is now pregnant with Tilton’s child. RNRF is not releasing the identity of the victim or her mother.
