SPRING HILL – An elderly woman was injured this evening after she lost control of her vehicle and collided with a residence on Clearwater Drive.
Fire Rescue responded to 7235 Clearwater Drive where they discovered the heavily damaged vehicle and the garage portion of the home nearly destroyed.
There are unconfirmed reports that a 65-year-old woman and sole occupant of the vehicle may have suffered a medical episode, causing her to veer off the roadway and into the house.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment but her condition is unknown at this time.
The home was occupied at the time of the crash but there are no injuries reported.
