Three Charged in String of Vehicle Burglaries, Two Stolen Firearms Recovered

SUGARMILL WOODS (CITRUS) – The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office says they’ve arrested three suspects in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Homosassa area. 

According to Officials, Deputy Thomas Dowling was responding to a multiple vehicular burglary in the Homosassa area on Sunday, when he discovered David Davis, 19, Curtis Reiman, 19, and a third juvenile accomplice in the area.

Davis faces 5-counts of Burglary of a Conveyance and Reiman is charged with 1-count of Dealing in Stolen Property. The juvenile faces multiple counts of Armed Burglary, Grand Theft with Firearm, Burglary of a Conveyance, and Dealing in Stolen Property.

Two stolen firearms were recovered along with other property.

Sheriff Mike Prendergast said in a statement, “Hats off to our Westside Community Resource Officers, Patrol and our Tactical Impact Unit. They never stopped pursuing these suspects and it paid off putting these men behind bars.“
