  1. With the new traffic lights it can become confusing at times. Vehicles are always going through red lights. Surprise there isn’t more accidents. Cops would have their fill of handing out tickets daily!!

  2. Hey Hernando Co. How about installing a green arrow to turn at that light instead of people trying to turn on green, maybe there won’t be so many accidents.

  3. Caliaclan, they use this light system in Tampa and it works just fine. Driver need to pay more attention to the lights rather than trying to beat out the yellow. Most of these accidents occur because people are in a hurry or are not paying attention.

  4. I don’t understand all these accidents. I have been driving for over 30 years and haven’t had do much as a fender bender. I always look and think several moves ahead . I always anticipate the other driving turning in front of me. At a intersection even if I HAVE the green light I always slow down just a little just In case. It has worked for me so far .

  5. It’s the drivers not paying attention to the rules of the road, all the signs and signals won’t prevent any accidents if they are not obeyed

  6. I agree with charlie I have been driving for a very long time and still accident free I dont understand people getting into accidents Ignorent people think they are god and play with other peoples lives. What if everyone was as foolish and and careless with a gun as they are with a car wait for it.. Oh my gosh no he didnt say that.. Seriously what is the difference the out come is the same and the person you kill could be a loved one. You are not god… Do not take it upon your self to take someones life into your own hands.

  7. I agree 100% . I drive down 41 2 times a day everyday and have never been involved in a single accident. I don’t rely on the people to stop at the red light, I always drive in the right lane until ready to turn left. I proceed with caution through every green light. Has nothing to do with arrows, flashing lights, etc. It has to do with the people driving and not paying attention to their surroundings. Have lived in Hernando, Citrus, and Marion counties since 1978 and not 1 accident, and a daily driver.

  8. Brooksville isn’t really that big of a town yet it amazes me the number of accidents that occur almost daily. I guess if it wasn’t for the careless drivers Tom would have 1/2 the stories. Thank you for staying on it.
I don’t leave the house unless I Have to, I’m too laid back for all the people that are in a rush to fly up to the next red light. Sorry but I’m just not in a hurry, time goes by to fast as it is✈️
    Be Safe!👼🏼

  9. @ boschamps the roads here are just fine its the idiots who dont look twice or decide to pull out in front of an on coming vehicle instead of waiting the extra 30 seconds and letting them go past. just plain impatience and ignorance!
