Bomb Threat Leads to Department Store Evacuations

REGIONAL – Around 7:30 p.m. this evening, RNRF received information that two local Best Buy Department stores were evacuated, due to a bomb threat.

According to unconfirmed reports, a dispute between a Geek Squad employee and a customer may have led to someone calling in the threat.

After clearing the building, all employees were allowed to return back inside and the business and resume normal operations.

It is not known at this time which Pasco County location was affected by the threat.
