The defendant, 44 year old Christopher Talbert Foster, was confronted by Hernando County Deputies after receiving a tip that Foster was growing Marijuana in his backyard. The defendant did admit to the deputies that he was indeed growing Marijuana in his backyard for his personal use. The defendant then took the deputies to this backyard where they did find 21 individual plants ranging in size from 1 to 8 inches in height. The plants were approximately four to six weeks old. The defendant also admitted to having some ready for smoking Marijuana inside his residence. Foster was then arrested and transported to the Hernando County Jail where, due to his cooperation on scene, he was held on a total $3,000 bond.
