DUNNELLON – One person is confirmed dead and another injured, after fire ripped through a mobile home on River Bend Rd.
According to Officials, Citrus Sheriff Fire Rescue responded the near fully engulfed residence, where they discovered a male victim trapped inside. A second victim, who was sleeping when the fire broke out, escaped through a window and then tried to re-enter the home to save the other victim. Due to the intense heat, the man was unsuccessful in his attempts to rescue the trapped victim.
The second victim was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
The State Fire Marshal is en route to identify the deceased victim and determine the cause of the fire.

Prayers go out for injured party. They will suffer more than physically - emotionally as well. Pray friends & family offer support at this crucial time. The memory will haunt the soul for a while & he needs prayer, support physically & emotionally now.
Very sad those homes go up so fast 🙁 lost a good friend of mine many years ago in a Mobile Home.
