BROOKSVILLE – Fire Rescue is on the scene of two separate crashes, where at least 5-people are reported injured with one possible fatality.
Less than an hour after reporting the tragic I-75 rollover crash that claimed the life of at least one person, RNRF received information that a second rollover crash occurred at Cortez Blvd and Hwy 301 (Treiman Blvd). There are unconfirmed reports that at least 5 people were injured but the severity of their injuries is unknown.
Within minutes of the second crash, RNRF received news of a single vehicle motorcycle crash that may have claimed the life of the driver.
There are unconfirmed witness accounts that the male driver crashed a dirt bike at the 26000 block of Hayman Road. Sources say the driver suffered a puncture wound to the head and was not conscious or breathing when Fire Rescue arrived on the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital where his condition remains unknown.

The lady who died on I75 was a friend of mine in the rescue world. She was transporting a bunch of rescue cats to NC. Her husband was injured. Such a tragedy. Prayers for everyone in these accidents.
